Departments can request guest accounts to access limited CSUSM resources.

Sponsor a Guest Account

A guest account can be requested by the sponsoring department or group.  The university sponsor must submit the guest account at least 1 week in advance of the visit.

Please send the email to FacStaff@csusm.edu and include the following in the email request:

1. The guest’s full name
2. The guest's contact information
3. The date they will be on campus
4. The sponsor’s name and email address

What is the Sponsor’s Responsibilities?

The guest account information will be released to the sponsor who will be responsible for the account.

• The sponsor will provide the guest account information to the visitor (s) once they arrive on campus.
• The duration of the guest account can be extended by the sponsor to accommodate conference or workshop attendees who will be on campus and need access to the account beyond 24 hours.
• Visitors using a university network guest account must agree to abide by California State University’s Acceptable Use Policies Guests.

Please note, guest accounts are not setup with email and typically expire after 24 hours.
