CougarBot Chatbot - STAFF ONLY

CougarBot is a conversational agent that allows students to ask and receive responses to questions 24/7. CougarBot also allows messaging to students.

Get Started

STAFF ONLY - Fill out the CougarBot Request Form.  Any request for messaging students using CougarBot requires review and approval to avoid overloading students.

CougarBot Campaign Request Requirements:

  • Message has to directly relate to promoting retention and progress to degree (i.e. reminding students of crucial deadlines, asking students to take important actions, etc.)  
  • Message can only address incoming first-year and incoming transfer students, or a subset of that group
  • CougarBot message can only enhance email communication. IT CANNOT be the only method of communicating the information because students can opt-out of CougarBot 
  • Message has to direct to relevant websites if any exist 

CougarBot Campaign Request Procedure:

  • Request has to be completed AT LEAST two weeks in advance
